The Why:
I’ve been actively involved in Human Resources / People Services for just over 15 years and it is a continued passion for my field that drives me every day. I am grateful for the people I’ve met, how they have changed me, and the impact I’ve had the honor of having on them.
Most recently I have found myself frustrated with both the persistent inaccuracies about Human Resources (seriously? even after covid?) and the lack of ways to engage people that didn’t cost an arm and a leg or require hours of legwork.
This is what drove the creation of Avec Coeur - HR with Heart.
First and foremost “with heart” because we our passion lies in helping others. HR is often a thankless role and honestly some of us kind of like being in the wings making magic happen. That being said, our departments are often small and we have many initiatives to accomplish all while making that magic happen.
Here’s where ACHR comes in:
We search the web to find the content that is relevant to all stages of the employee journey that HR professionals face and bring it into one location. I know what you are thinking… I could set up a google alert for that…but google only searches for word content. ACHR finds content and links it to other relevant content to aid you in further learning.
Additionally both free and for purchase resources and packages are available at a minimal cost to help you DIY your culture magic.
